I had to look up McLeodganj -- what a beautiful place, and an interesting history. I'd love to see more photos of the area if you can show us. Some similarities to the Alps because of the altitude, though you're much higher up than the relatively older European mountains.
It is Mc Leodganj........I have written about the place and posted more pictures on my other blog.....Just check it friends if you had fallen in love with this picture....It is a beautiful and peaceful place...the holy abode of spiritual leader Dalai Lama...
